The ground level and basement of this large historic Denver home are reserved for guests while residents occupy the 2nd and 3rd floors. Guests have access to 5 bunk beds, 2 single beds and a futon, laundry room and full bathroom, shared kitchen, full fridge, large dining room, living room and 2 bathrooms with showers (1 with a tub). The Spot:
This space is ideal for larger groups of 4-10 people, but works just as well for 1 or 2 folks. It is a utilitarian yet warm and hospitable hostel styled space (we've had as many as 18 people stay in the basement!). It's an old house with plenty of quirks and creaking floors, but delightfully welcoming and homey feeling. Guests often comment on how peaceful the house feels. We host well over 100 people per year and have everything you might need during your stay including towels, sheets/pillows/blankets, extra toiletries and a fully stocked kitchen.
Guest Access:
The entire ground level and basement, except for one occupied bedroom on the ground level. This includes large dining room and living room, kitchen, guest fridge and basement bedrooms. Guests are also welcome to use the front and side porches and even use the fire pit in the back yard.
Other Stuff:
This is an old and well-loved house. We strive to excel at what we offer and to keep things clean. We are slowly working our way though the house with a fresh coat of paint and making upgrades. Please provide helpful feedback on ways that we can make our guest spaces better. Also, we don't have a TV.

Rules & conditions
House Rules:
-No smoking
-No pets
-Check-in time is 3PM - 9PM and check out by 10AM
-Self check-in with keypad
- Quiet hours after 10pm
-Tobacco and weed can ONLY be smoked on the front porch and never inside. The owl statue on the porch doubles as an ashtray.
-Don't let the cat inside. We call her Honey and she's a friendly alley cat, not a pet.
You must also acknowledge:
-Potential for noise - For the most part you'll probably only rarely see or hear the other housemates, just know that they exist and are very nice. We mostly live upstairs.
-Must climb stairs - There are 6 short stairs to reach the front and side doors, and all the beds are in the basement.
-Some spaces are shared - There are two kitchens in the house. If you're planning on entertaining or would like to have the dining room to yourselves, just let us know.
